Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Verbly (“the App”).

By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

The App is developed by Akash Shah (“Developer,” “we,” “our,” or “us”).

Use of the App

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Verbly for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You agree not to:

Intellectual Property

All software, designs, graphics, vocabulary content, branding, logos, icons, text, and other materials within Verbly are owned by Akash Shah unless otherwise stated.

These materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

No rights are transferred except for the limited license granted through these Terms.

Premium Subscriptions

Verbly offers optional premium subscriptions through Apple’s App Store.

Available offerings currently include:

Weekly and yearly subscriptions may include a three-day free trial when offered.

Subscription pricing may change in future versions of the App.

Payments are processed exclusively through Apple.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled through your Apple ID settings before renewal.

Refund requests are handled according to Apple’s policies.

Availability

We strive to keep the App available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

Features may be modified, updated, suspended, or discontinued at any time.

User Data

Learning progress, saved words, preferences, and optional display names are primarily stored locally on your device.

Deleting the App generally removes this locally stored information.

Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services including:

Your use of those services may also be governed by their own terms and policies.

No Warranty

Verbly is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Developer disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, error-free, or free from interruptions.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Akash Shah shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from the use or inability to use the App.

The total liability of the Developer shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App or subscriptions during the twelve months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Akash Shah from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to premium features if these Terms are violated or if required by law.

Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated periodically.

Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
